We at Donaldson Refurbishments are strong advocates of community, we like to source as many materials as possible locally in order to help the local economy. We like to really get to know our clients & their community in order to offer as personalised a service as possible, tailored to your individual needs & budget. As part of our commitment to the local community, we have pledged to donate a percentage of our profits to charity.
The registered charity of our choice is a local charity we have first hand experience of and which is very close to our hearts;
Romsey Opportunity Group
This is a family group charity, completely funded by donations, fund raising & grants; who encourage children aged 0 to 5 with Special needs (physical, emotional & sensory disabilities) to learn to play & socialise. The group has some magnificent success stories with children and is invaluable to those that use it, particularly given that there is very little help available to families of children with special needs at this age in Hampshire.
The prospect of a couple of hours respite care twice a week, is a lifesaver when you survive on 3 to 4 hours sleep a night!!!
